What year? Previous owner said that mine rattled. He just took it in to toyota and they fixed it in like 10 min (According to him). Don't know what was wrong.

I personally hate sunroofs. I wish I didn't have it.

 

That is drivers side. I would put it in passenger like you.

2007. I've tried to 'adjust it' with no luck but I may be not doing it right.

While it's closed, from the inside, I can push up on it and it will move up about 1/8 of an inch or a bit more. When we wheel it rattles big time.

 

mine hasnt been able to shut up since i got it. If i slide the cover over it goes away for the most part. Someone has used a shock bushing and placed it where it puts a little tension on the sunroof. Like if you were to press on it and the noise goes away.

Depends how much you use it.

 

Sliding the cover makes no difference for us. Just helps mute the noise a bit. I'm trying to find the link on T4R that has the washer you cut to make it 'snug'. Seems like her runner already has this done to it and when I added another it made 0 difference. It doesn't bother her as much as it does me. But we do use the sun roof a lot.

 

nah on mine you can push up on it and it wiggles enough but nothings lose, it can be annoying on washboards.

I don't mind pulling the headliner. I'll sound deaden the roof while I'm in there. I just don't want to pull it to find it there is nothing I can do to fix this and this is the way it is.

Mine does the same in my Tundra, drives me crazy.

 

I'm pretty sure they already did the TSB to it. I have plastic washers that look very similar to the ones in post 6/7/8. We asked the dealer when we had the trans flushed and they stated that they would have to have a tech look at it.

 

My 3rd gen doesn't.

I'm really not a huge fan of tundras. I like the 1st gen ones a bit, but not super keen on the newer ones.

It is a Ride Machete, 163W. Great board, but I got a new one and only need one.

 

Gang up all you want just remember I have a V8 and I don't have to have a soccer mom car to be able to have it.
