I don't think that would work out very well especially when you go to turn / flex.

Aside from that with our 3rd gens you'd definitely want to re gear

 

Can make 44's fit with enough modification. In reality, we would have to most likely cut close to 2" off of your fenders, cut cab mount, and cut in to your bumper. Maybe look in to ToyTec's 1" body lift, it will add just a smidgin more clearance. And yes, you will want to regear to at least 4.56 if not higher.

I saw it too, and yeah, I like it. But he's selling it for more than he paid for it. I got him down pretty low on his price, but then all the welder stuff come up and that was that.

Look at your lower control arms, you should see the factory bumps that thread off. Do yourself a favor and start hosing the bolts down everyday with PB Blaster or Kroil Oil to break the rust. While waiting for that to soak in get your big adjustable wrench ready.

 

The stock ones are probably already seized up huh?

If you don't end up doing anything, I doubt that they are going to be terribly rusty. Your truck is in good condition, and if the do start being little bitches, I'll just hit em with the torch and they'll spin right out.

Agreed, even on the 2nd gens is a lot of cutting involved to make them fit AND functional!
