Who has installed an AAL? I need to do it for my Dakars and wondering if a pair of c-clamps plus normal tools will be enough.

That's enough for stock leafs. Can't imagine it'd be much different with the Dakars.

That's what I used on my stock leafs. Also needed a cut off wheel to trim the longer center bolts.

Wait... are you going to drive up here??
I also got 265 75 KO2s, but i will be getting the 285s next time...
:rofl: Cant we all! I am about to work on a to-do list for me to keep up with the mods i need to do...
    Worked for me!
I think that is all we used to install my AAL right??
Man i wish i could, i already have a bunch of trips planned this year. As much fun as wheeling is, i think some overlanding is in order. Hopefully BBNP will help with that!

Does anyone have any bed rail mounts for quick fists and a high lift mount that they can bring to the meet & drink?? I would like to take some measurements of them so that i can have a buddy fabricate some out of 1/8" aluminum. I am going to see how they hold up, if they are good i am thinking about selling them on here as a side hustle!

Or if you can take some measurements for me that would be awesome!

    Thanks

I have a set of Relentless hilift mounts so you will have several examples.

I believe you could. Those look like the same ones I have and the jack is lower than the bedside.

I may be in for a set. I've been following the DIY thread and have considered making my own from aluminum bar stock from Home Depot. I don't know how rough they might look though.
