What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I think Undercover states around 58lbs, I'm very impressed with the quality, and I'm a picky SOB. Was very easy to mount the Tonneau with the help of my wife. Very sturdy, can't say enough good things about. Precise manufacturing, heavy duty.

First night it was installed it rained, bone dry. Haven't had it through a touch free yet, but would probably remove the cross-bars.

Before this I bought 2 Extang encore's, Extang shipped them UPS ground and both times the boxes arrived destroyed, decent quality product but there is no way they are as durable or well made as this. $1310 for the Undercover, an online merchant matched a listing on Amazon.

 

Nice, not to heavy. Based on the pics it looks like you can move the bars back and forth, Is that right? I would love to throw my bike on there without having to remove the front wheel.

 

Absolutely, I just mounted the bars against the corners to forgo measuring until some of the accessories I ordered come in. The brace the Tonneau lays on has tracks as well if you remove the Tonneau for an exposed bed. A lot of options. Earlier when I said my wife helped me mount the cover I simply meant lay it on top of the bed. It is very light, she has a smaller figure and it was easy for her to lift and manage. Also forgot to mention it arrived with an LED bed light, battery operated. I have yet to install, wanted to wait till things warmed up. Also, Undercover shipped it FedEx freight priority, shipped on the 7th, arrived on the 8th on a pallet. Great customer service, FedEx crushed the box all the hardware/crossbars were in, called Undercover and immediately was connected with a Rep that was genuinely concerned. Luckily nothing was damaged. The experience with Undercover restored faith in the way companies operate, quality, attention to detail, and fit and finish. I am not a salesman or rep, just impressed with how they handled everything from start to finish without cutting corners. Rare in today's world.

 

They are mounted in the same orientation as the factory Tacoma emblems. If that makes it clear. Depending on which side of the truck you are on...it still reads left to right. Link below.

Just finally had enough time to install my Front Bumper Guard from Brandon at @Avidoffroad. Absolutely love it. When I'm ready I will purchase my 30" LED bar for it that will mount right on the brackets.

Installed my Bells CB tuned Uniden 520xl w/Palomar SL41. Sweet talker..

 

Just a little on the bottom plastic liner but very little. Not a big deal at all. Other than that, nothing at all. Pretty easy. You do not need to remove the grille to install. Take off the 14mm bolts and then to reinstall them, go through the inner fender liner by the fog lights. Pretty easy from them. Done!
