I know the spring was fine before. I think i figured it out. It looks like the spring is clocked wrong according to some instructions I found on the 2nd gen forum. I am going to go rent a crappy spring compressor and reclock it since i'm not scared of it blowing apart now.

A small handful of select mods.
Then as you stated in the post above it might be clocked wrong.

Hey ToyTec, was considering lifting my TRD pro 2.5" (which according to the original post I would only need a 1.5" I believe) and was wondering if you had any insight on how to do so with the TRD pro suspension. I'm colorado based so I would like to do it through you guys in denver if at all possible. Thanks in advance for the feedback!

I have been looking at getting an OR but there is just no way I can swing that kind of dough. So I'm looking at a SRAC in a manual. I realize that I loose a lot of cool upgrades in the OR but I really won't use them that much. What I will miss is the suspension on the OR as I live on one of the worst roads in Tuolumne County (and that was before the 30ish inches of rain this year).

So what are your thoughts on getting that soft ride out of the SR? Not really looking at a lift as I will not be going beyond a 265/75/16.

Buy my OR suspension that's sitting in my garage.

Nah, you can go for the 5100 route or look into one of the Toytec or Icon kits.

    Hey
So as of now we do not have anything for the pro suspension. We have been in the works of designing a top spacer for the system so you can keep the pro ride quality. As of now it is not available, but we can get the Daystar spacer if you don't want to wait.
    Definitely let us know
    Thanks

Question about brake lines.. on a 2-3" lift, I read that an extended brake line is required for the rear, but not necessarily the front.

Do I need extended brake lines front and rear or just rear?

    Thx.

Just rear. Only way you would need front would be if you went with long travel.

I should of asked this earlier.

For those of you with a 3rd gen that swapped out your rear or front lines. What brake fluid did you use when bleeding the new lines?

I don't think your supposed to mix dot 4 with dot 3. So unless your planning on flushing the whole system. I just picked up a bottle of OE Toyota brake fluid for $7 at the dealer. I believe it's dot3

This may be a stupid question, but is bleeding the brakes on a 3rd gen the same as it always is? I've heard you need to hook it up to the tech stream so that is pulses the brakes because of the ABS? I could see if you let a ton of air in there and had to bleed the whole line to the ABS pump but I figured the normal process would work fine. Any one have any input on that? Thanks
