I don't think anymore, so it's all good. I drove this for 10 years, and if I survived it's no-swaybar-rollercoaster-ride handling, I think I'll be OK.

Stock suspension + no sway bar = super soft and prone to tip.

Stiff suspension + no sway bar = not the same scenario.

I know that some guys don't like chrome, but you might try simply swapping your grills with some of the guys that have the base 5 lug/Prerunner with the standard grill. They might like the upgrade and all you'll have to do then is prep your grill shell for painting.

I would actually preferred to swap one that was factory painted magnetic gray. However, finding one local to me seems to be the bigger challenge.

Sorry to hear. I had the local Toyota Dealership do the same to mine a while back. I bought a bumper off of a fellow member here to replace their fuck up that the service manager wouldn't own up to.

That truck has stock suspension and a sway bar. Even if stiff off road suspension and no sway bar is comparable to that, it's still bad. I'm just showing that our trucks have poor high speed maneuver characteristics.

*Yes I understand that the Hilux and Tacoma are two different trucks*
As far as I know, it comes with one. No idea why it wouldn't.

Actually, they're not painted magnetic gray. They're call "argent" and although they look awfully close to that color, when you see an MGM truck with that grill, you'll see the difference. Just one of those things you need to know if you're going to know everything...lol.

I was thinking of getting some bushwhacker style fender flares (my tires with stock flares kick every piece of mud I go over up the side of the truck) and I think the bushwackers would go just wide enough to block that. The only thing is I don't like all the divets where you put the fake (screws).
is there a company that makes wider fender flares without the divets, or I was throwing around Ideas on how to fill this and sand smooth/ paint... What do y'all think?

as for today I took of the ditch mount LEDS and put on the roof bar, I think it looks cleaner!
    and for the pics....

Debadged (still needs polished), inspection sticker, fog light anytime, installed tags. Still needs detailed, suspension work, and 30k mile service. Amongst other things.........

The same shit everyone else has.
Chrome grille related info - Red scuff pad and oven cleaner will take chrome off of plastic. High build primer and block sanding will take care of low spots. Do it right and your paint wont fall off.

Today, I stopped at the pay & spray after work. Hosed the truck off. Dried it off when I got home and spray detailed the whole thing. I havent put wax on the truck since November and but still shines. Its amazing how well proper paint protection & maintenance last.
