@DCSBFTMFW If you want the superflexes I have, I'll let them go for 75 bucks since it saves me the hassle of finding somebody to buy them. Then if you hate them, you can probably sell for more. than that.

I'm upgrading to Icon 3" Overland Springs to support the 230 lb hunk of steel and 100 lb RTT along with my gear. Not sure if that is going to cut it even. Apparently @.45 JHP runs spacers along with those in order to retain height.

Here is how these springs sit with just the RTT weight though:

What do they provide in terms of lift height? Tire size in that pic? Front lift amount in that pic?

If they aren't too tall I might give them a shot.

Ok. I have third row also.

LMK when they're available in April was it? In the mean time I'll research them.

Yeah. I'm working 80 hour weeks until then. That will be when I have time to swap the springs and ship them out.
FJ's and 5th gens are the same.

Yep all Prado 120/150 same rear shock and spring setup (FJC/T4R/GX460/470).

@DCSBFTMFW The regular superflexes work great but really couldn't handle my rear bumper, tent, and drawers well. Ran them for about 5-6 trips and upgraded to the Icon Overlands. But like @SixthSnail said I'm having trouble with weight and have to run spacers to retain some height back there. After the new cargo and water setup go in I'll probably shop for even heavier springs.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention to @DCSBFTMFW that my springs are the HD version. When I talked to toytec they recommended them for people with 3rd row seats since they add about 180 lbs to the back.

@.45 JHP do you think I'll be cool with the overland springs holding 2" of lift with my weight? Hoping not to run any spacers.

Unless you start getting drawers and adding more stuff I'd say you'll be okay. Even the spacers I use are just the 10mm OME trim packers which won't mess with your preload too much. 10mm gave me about 2" lift IIRC.

Rough estimate, I'm currently at 700lbs over stock near the rear axle alone which puts it close to that 1.5" measurement from Icon. 200lb rear bumper; 80 lbs wheel/tire; 20 lbs loaded jerries; 200 lbs tent; drawers and all the tools/parts/crap inside 200ish. That's not even including the fridge or any extra gear (front runner bins, food, gear bags etc).

When my new drawer setup is done I fully expect to be about 900lbs over stock back there, even pushing 1000lbs at full load. I'm planning on reorganizing a lot of the back space to be more self-sufficient and to have a nice water setup. Needless to say the Icons probably won't cut it at that point.

I feel like I'm complaining about weight but I think loaded up Tacomas usually have way more weight over the rear.
