4runners are heavy machines man. Especially in back. Tacomas have the luxury of barely any weight in the rear because of the bed. Also, leaf springs are more meant for hauling.

You could look into custom springs for your load.

I think I'm leaning toward not running a drawer system, but still removing third row seats and putting in a flat board, maybe with a slide. So weight unloaded will be 230 lbs rear bumper, 100 lbs RTT. So around 350. However, I will be removing around 150 in the rear seats and hardware. With a loaded up cooler and such in the back, probably gonna hit around 400 over stock. Not bad.

Where do you keep your hi lift. Mine is just sitting in back right now. Can't find a good way to run it. I wish I had bed rails like the tacoma haha.

Ah- totally get it. Yeah the 4Runner is already feeling like a pig, have to floor it to go anywhere. It was bad before the 34s, now a regear is definitely my next big mod after reconfiguring everything.

I actually don't carry a jack, all my buddies run hilifts so I haven't really thought about it until now. I can probably mount it on my rear bumper somehow, or mount a Pro Eagle jack inside ($$$$$$$$ I don't have :( )

I ran mine on the roof and it drove me insane. SOOOOO loud off road.

It's only ever been used helping jeeps lol.

I tried having relentless make it so it would fit on my bumper, but it hit my spoiler if it was mounted there. CBI sticks out further though so you should be solid.

Next up is springs to help me out in the lift department. Then I'm gonna try to fill out my rear bumper goals before a regear. Now that a snorkel is on my radar, I'll have to see where that fits in. Regear is just stupid expensive. My rig is soooo slow though.

    How do you mount it?

The frontrunner hi lift attachment rattles so much that I couldn't turn up the volume on my radio high enough to drown it out.

Just realized I didn't answer. The tires are your standard 285/70/17 33" most popular size among tacomas and 4runners.

Well crap, the 4runner leaks from the sunroof. Took it around the neighborhood to drop my daughter off at her friends and when I got back in the seat was soaked and dripping. Not sure why it wasn't before but probably because my 4runner is parked on an incline so it didn't puddle up like now. Another fun project to tackle.

Also I think the wife is going to be a little mad about this...guess it was a bit more incline into my driveway than I thought and these street tires suck!

I'm running Billies in the rear. I'll take a picture tomorrow. I've heard they had issues with the 4th gen but haven't heard any complaints in the 5th. My buddy has 2 5th gens with the BOSS system on them.

I like it. It's a little bit more stiff than stock. I'm running no sway bars so it flexes a lot.

The only people I've heard complain about them are 4th Gen owners. They work for my needs.

That is tucked. I think the wheel spacers are causing mine to rub in the rear

Mine is for sure rubbing everywhere. I still need to pound down all the metal and cut some of the body in the back
