Nice! I use to have a '07 WRX Limited with a good bit of mods.

I miss mine at times but I like my '15 WRX.

I replaced my STi with a Corvette of all things, and surprisingly, it was exactly the right decision.

It was a 2006. I had a Cobb Stage 2 setup with a Protune and a bunch of Defi gauges. In my avatar I was on 2011 BBS wheels, but I later went back to stock. I liked it a lot, but I do think I made the right decision in selling it last year. I had it from 2007 to 2016, so that's a pretty good run.

I wanted something less practical, with a removable roof that wasn't a convertible. My goal was a Z32 300ZX TT but since all the ones in the Northeast were either rustbuckets or modified by Dominic Toretto, Jr. it was slim pickings. The cheapest MkIV Supra in the country at the time that had an intact driveline and wasn't a total basketcase was 23K and it was a green NA automatic, which was out of even my stretch budget.

The Vette hit a lot of the major points that I was looking for. The only downfall is the cliche Corvette owner. That's why I'm making sure to fall into none of the typical Corvette troupes (logos, attitude, chrome, etc). It's funny seeing the "interior mods thread" posting photos of interiors that look like they belong in circa-2000 Hondas (and coming from the Honda world in the early-2000's...I know what I'm looking at). That's why I'm pulling my chrome wheels for BBS wheels, etc, etc...completely different direction.
