This is turning into a $120 GPS mount..I may have to hold off..juice isn't worth the squeeze.

Speaking of hardwire. Have you tapped into the 12v power plugs before? I wanted to hardware my sirius radio to that and then a 2 plug extender on the other one.

 

Admittedly I didn't spend a ton of time trying to figure it out. But I didn't see a way to get behind them from under the dash. I'll take a look tomorrow.

 

I have trim tools so maybe I'll try that. But yes, I'm not dainty.

 

With this ram mount idea I can hard wire my GPS right down to the fuse box since it's so close. Then, if I can get my sirius hard wired I'll have two free plugs again. Life will be slightly better..
