Rough day up here, breaking down and trading the current truck in. I fully believe my access cab, 4x4 4 cylinder with the 5-speed stick was the perfect truck... when i was single and it was just me and my dog. But suddenly I'm married to a wife that doesn't drive stick, I've got a kid on the way, and the next hunting trip i go on I'm sure to come home to more than one dog. getting a 2017 SR5 4 door, 6' bed 4x4. I'm trying hard not to think about the fact that I'm really just paying 35,000 to add 18" onto my current truck... ugh.

 

Nah, its life, things change as do the needs of a vehicle. Be glad you have someone to come home to, alot of people dont and wish they did.

 

Game carcass aside.... have you considered the 4 Runner?

 

This is true. Wife, kids, dog.... American dream for many...

 

Yeah, test drove both last weekend, it came down to the fact that i would just end up having to buy a trailer and store that if i didnt have the truck bed. the 4 door long bed is going to be fun in downtown minneapolis, but it made the most sense in the end

 

Yeah, im lucky as hell and i know it, i just loved this damn truck, lol.
