Rainy day, so I spent the morning wiring up the new A-Pillar lights. Wanting things clean, I took apart the weather pack connectors so I could drill a hole in the cowl plastic, put a rubber grommet in place thenow ran the light wireing through that and then reassembled the connector. Turned out super clean. Then made my own wiring harness and covered it with some nice braided split loom and connected it to the switchpros... All in all, made for a really damn clean install..

    A lot
Got this one today There are many like it, but this one is mine. Upgraded from a 05 x-runner. Paid $33500 plus taxes I thought I got a good deal what has been the median selling price for you guys TRD spot LB DC. Had the truck for 20 min and drove it right to NTB to get the mini van tires off. Got 265/75/17 Discoverer AT/W and obviously some TRD rims that I had ready to go. Now the fun starts Roll Bak Revolver X2 tonneau cover is going on tonight. Debadging and other fun will ensue soon.

Dipped the badges. Was about 60 degrees however I wanted to make sure the plasti dip came out ok so I put the can in warm water for 10 minutes before spraying. Came out pretty good. Easier to apply than expected.

I was thinking of putting the 4Runner TRD pro wheels on my 17 Tacoma TRD pro, does anyone know if the fit is ok or if it will rub ?

IMG_0655.jpg Put a temporary 2.5" drop on the back end. Guy at the rental agency was impressed because he had no idea Tacomas could pull as much as they can and he expected it to drop to the wheels.

Hey y'all. New here from the PNW, I've been stalking the thread for a while just absorbing the info. Just got my first Tacoma a couple of weeks ago, and I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty stoked. I've secretly been pining for a Taco for years now, and I've finally got one. 2017 Black Access Cab Sport 4x4 with a manual tranny. Got the front windows tinted already. Getting running boards, my tonneau cover installed, and blacking out the badges tomorrow. I plan on getting myself a pro grill for my birthday next month, the vent visors are en route, and then a bed mat. THEN the focus will be a lift, new wheels and tires - but I think I'll ride out these tires first while I figure out what I'm aiming for. Yep, I blame all you guys for the addiction. It's hit hard. Haha

    So, hi everyone! :wave:IMG_1326.jpg

Picked them up from my local Ace Hardware. Probably a little overkill but I think it really made for a very clean install..
