You can bring the cost way down to $50 (potentially less if you resell the sourced ignition minus keeping the ring) if you source one from a wrecked vehicle. See one of my posts on page #11 in that linked thread

Last night and all day today it rained... so I was busy.

Painted front door window/lock panels satin black.
Painted HVAC controls plate satin black.
    Relocated horns.
    Relocated temp sensor.

    Drank some stuff.

    Dismembered my grill...

Locker mod, fog light on, seatbelt chime, map lights on& led so far.
Switched to Mobil 1 and k and n oil filter and air filter. It is the first oil change for this truck since I bought it. Seen the passenger side c.v. shaft is leaking at the differential. Yippee now more work. My dad has a lift in his garage so it shouldn't be too bad.

I literally spent ALL DAY working on my Satoshi style grill.

I had already mounted the aluminum letters to the grill a couple weeks ago but knew I'd need some serious uninterrupted time to cut apart my old grill and mouth the mesh.

I'm not eventirely done yet. Still have to permanently epoxy the grill to the plastic.
Shit is zip tied for now but I don't care! Will have to make it permanent before I go wheeling because it would suck if it got messed up.

For shits and giggles I derped the chrome. I have a case of "dark grey" of PD I got a while back and haven't really used any until I did my tacoma side badges last weekend. This stuff is definitely not permanent especially on the grill. I'll wd-40 it and take it off probably before I epoxy the mesh to the plastic. Thinking about if I want to keep the ultra deep dish look or make it a little shallower. I have a fiberglass kit to fill in the holes on the sides but we'll see...

Had to take a couple pics even though it's raining, otherwise my post is worthless!

    Very happy with the results.
Rustoleum primer/paint satin black. About 10 very light passes with the heat gun between.

Contemplating doing my shifter assembly plate thing too.
