There's not much public land out there. That might be private.
http://oregonhuntingmap.com/#/map Select hunting map, then layers and select land ownership to see public land in your AO.

Interesting. There were other people arriving to shoot there too when we were leaving. And there was shooting going on somewhere else within hearing distance.

Good advice to check for yourself on shooting legality rather than trust someone else.

I hit up Google Maps and found exactly where we were shooting - Eastbound Hwy 26 off of Miller Road (just after Blue Jay Lane) just off the Salmon River.

Thanks for the recommendations, I ended up going to larch despite rumors that it was closed to recreational shooters... apparently not the case. A little busier than I hoped but found enough space for myself to do a little pistol shooting. I will definitely try that spot out in the near future though

@Benson X I know you like Session Black. Have you tried the Session Black Cherry Black Lager? If so, is it any good?

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Haven't tried that one - I get wary of fruit-infused or flavored beer. I grabbed this stuff last night and it's pretty damn good. A close contender to Irish Death, I'd say.

I saw Coor's has "Banquet Beer" stubbies now, curious if those are any good.

I worked with a guy for awhile, as 2 of the Union contractors on a non union job, whose friend owns Black Raven in Kirkland or where ever on the east side they are at. I've never been there or tried their beers, but I do love me some death.

Anyone want to grab a beer tonight in fairwood area? Asked last night in NW meet thread, but I think some aren't in it. @Nimitz @rlx02

I'll drink with you Brady. I'll just be doing it remotely from Hermiston.

I'm really north of Spokane for home, but down here for work. I was trying to drive with a co-worker last night in Kennewick, but he never got back to me. Let's get a beer sometime.

Sounds good. Im familiar with your home base as I grew up about 45 miles north of Spokane. Then lived in Spokane and Cheney for many years.

Home is Deer Park, a little south of town. It's about 12 miles from Wandemere to my house.
