Another aspect to consider, is an automatic transmission a must? The manual in the 2016+ Tacomas is stellar while the auto has been heavily criticized. I don't think the Limited is available with a manual but it is with the Sport and it will save you some $$$

Well for me, but in Canada so doesn't qualify, but long box, leather, JBL, running boards, and rear park assist. Plus everything else you get in tech/premium pack.

    So why not?

The luxury differences are personal opinion that I'll leave to you. As for the suspension: my other car is an '05 Mustang GT with some GT 500 suspension goodies and 265/40/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I'm really, really happy with the ride and handling of my TRD Sport. Luckily, my truck came with Firestone Destination LE2 tires (#2 rated all season truck tire at Tire Rack.) The truck is a lot of fun to drive, corners well on dry pavement, tows a trailer well and rides great on these cracked and frosted Canadian roads.

If the Corvette in your avatar is your other ride, I think you'll appreciate the handling differences of the Sport...

I had a 2gen sport and have a 3gen limited. I love(d) both trucks; the 3gen limited is my favorite.

It is, with Z51... The suspension between the two is my real decision.. good take on it.. I do like a firmer taught ride...Limited may be too soft...

Sport and limited have the same suspension don't they?

I'd say go sport. Limited is meh. If I remember right it's not even real leather

Couple more differences that may or may not matter:
    Limited-18 inch wheels,only short bed available,black grill,chrome mirrors.
    Sport- 17 inch wheels,long & short bed available,chrome grill,color match mirrors.
I got a Sport but did have to put on a Pro grill to get rid of the chrome.

SPORT. With the limited you pay a lot but don't get much real value for the buck. Plus you have to change out the wheels.

Sport has its own suspension. SR,SR5 and Limited share.

I think the bro skewp personally improves the looks of these third gens dramatically..and it just feels meaner behind the wheel over looking the hood...but all thats just personal opinion annnnddd we all know how that far goes on forums. But i test drove both a limited and a sport. Went home with the sport.

Why are you buying a pickup if "tech/premium pack" and "luxury features" and "chrome rims" and "leather" are important to you? I just don't get it.

Why not? Who says a pickup has to be a low quality, lack of option, POS, for just hauling stuff to the dump? Why can't it be a more versatile vehicle for an everyday drive, family vehicle, and hauler when needed. It can be the perfect suburban hauler, I know mine is.
