More like trying to remember how to bend tubing. It's been a while.

I'll have a basic set of non kick outs and kick out's up for sale soon.

O i agree with ya. On a properly maintained one. The 4BD1T was only use new in the late 80's (least it looks like) so finding one is either going ot be higher mileage or has been sitting. And a sitting motor who knows. I'd at least be digging into it a bit so maybe not a full rebuild.

Sounds like it will be a fun project. And different too which is always nice to see! Not the typical drop a SBC or BBC in it.

Looking at the specs it looks like the Toyota offerings are pretty similar power wise. And they have Turbo ones too! Though the transfer cases i think youd be stuck needing passenger side diff's front and rear.

Least you arent having to undo previous owners work. Thats what Im going through with my project.

You can get one for free from AutoZone. They have a loan-a-tool program, (pretty sure it's the one you just ordered) is available with a $50? refundable deposit. Use it, return it un-broken and get all your money back

Yeah that's theirs. But it's not a deuce, is some other thing made by Stevenson in Texas.

Yeah, I tried the free rental version of those from Auto Zone or O'Reilly's on my 885's and it didn't work. I was worried the bolts were going to snap due to the load on them. They had a huge amount of deflection before the springs even got close enough to assemble the coilover

The problem I run into is the claws won't fit in between the thick coils we have. I had to take a grinder and cut off the back corner of the claws to get them to fit between the coils. I used four compressors last time to adjust my coils. Which worked. I'll sell my custom compressors for cheap if anyone is interested. ;)

I am very impressed with Switch-Pros. I sent my switch panel in last week for a software update and a new panel will arrive Tuesday! They could not update mine and only had the flange style in stock. I could either wait or take a flange style. The flange style should be a great improvement for my location so....score!
I'll add some pictures to my thread on Friday. I am going to work on a back up switch box (jic) for the back country.

I used the autozone rental set to put 885s on. It just took going back and forth on the compressors a lot, and tightening by hand instead of impact driver as it didn't have the torque needed.

Anyone want/need some 17" GX470 wheels and 265/65R17 Michelin LTX MS2 tires with 8/32 of tread?

I'd make a deal for anyone that posts in here regularly.

I had the chance to buy a Branick 7600 (shop spring compressor) for a pretty damn good deal but passed cause I never needed a spring compressor. Still kick myself for not just buying it. The guy wanted 200 for it (it retails for ~750) and was lightly used.

Last weekend it was just a bit snowy. I suggest either going with someone whos been before or walking the trails before you commit.
