The only thing your moving per say is the cable. We had to change one for a blue screen. Yes it could be the head unit or the camera itself also. To be honest I didn't change it. I helped one of the kids do a diag flow on it. I would concentrate from the rear quarter to the camera. If you pull the panels, then fire off the camera , you can move the wiring slowly in that area. If it quits..........

Well I am suprised this little storm hung around all night. It's still cloudy out but it's over with, but did manage to have that heavy drizzle most of the time with harder rain the rest. It ended here around 0600.

We were talking about beer steins earlier and I know there are probably some pretty extensive coffee cups collections here, but this is probably one of my favorites and most unique. On the morning I left Korea, I was stumbling back through the front gate at Camp Casey and decided to grab breakfast. The old codger working the counter said something about visiting stateside and I told him I was rotating out that day, so he said he has a going away present for me. He filled it full of coffee and gave me breakfast "on the home". That was May 1988. I don't think there are many Korean Burger King coffee cups out there.20170219_092438.jpg

This made me remember it was a big deal when Burger King got the contract with AAFES; Googled it, that was 1984...I entered active duty 2 Nov 1983. Little Memory Lane trivia, but a fun memory none the less. IIRC we were generally disappointed that BK beat McD.

We had the BK on post, but this was from the BK just across the street from the main gate off post.

So why are u here then? I said you that you should stay and you did. So you did listen to me.
So you only listen when it suits you. Selective hearing, selective reading, selective understanding.
Your very selective aren't ya ????

Hmmm ... was gonna clear the few inches of snow off the drive, but it's moderately snowing some more; it'll wait. Meeting kids in Anchorage this afternoon. Maybe a nap. :D

The only Micky D's I recall on post/base/camp was out at the old LSA in Kuwait along side Ali Al Salem. But that went away a few years ago.

Right now I was out in my short sleeves. Actually feels warm. About 45. Everyone else is scraping ice. And roofs. My drive us clear enough and my roof is melting the top part now. Garage doors are open to air out the humidity. Floor all wet so trying to dry some.
Ordered some salamander parts. Get the heater going again and check the air pressure hopefully by next weekend. This warm weather is temporary so I want to get it back running somewhat right.

We had Pizza Hut/ BK at Talil.

Edit: it was there I pondered the meaning of "locally sourced" products used in their restaurants....burro and camel came to mind because I didn't see one cow in over 6 months.
