HaHa yeah definitely used to be that way but now I'd say Canadain hockey is a balanced approach that limits shots through procession in the attacking zone. Not necessarily finesse, but through great support and a sold back check and fore check.

Lol, 4-3 with two empty net goals is hardly a spanking. It was a great game to watch though. The push back from both teams, and the snipe show on the third goal from both teams, was HNIC memorable for sure. Turris really stood out in that game. He just seems to get a little better all the time. Still not a superstar but he's definitely become the player he claimed he could be when he sat out a few years ago. Bobbi Ryan though... what's wrong with him? He looked horrible. He was supposed to be a big guy for Ottawa. I know he fell off a while ago but last night he looked horrid.

Bottom line Ottawa looks really good right now. Their bottom 6 are playing well, Karlsson is showing flashes of his Norris year, and the return of Anderson is going to be a big factor from them.

Unless Price picks up his game back to superhuman levels the Habs are in trouble. Look at their roster. People have been saying it for years and it's true, without Price the Habs aren't much of a team. There is a reason the Habs keep coming up in trade talks around Colorado. They desperately need some high end talent forwards in their lineup.

 

That's the 6.5 million dollar question. Last night was actually a better game than his usual. He had some monster moments in the game against buffalo but it seems like we just see flashes and the rest of the game he is invisible.

 

That's what happens when Kevin Lowe isn't in charge of the team.
