Ah, my bad.. I read that wrong. Thought you were referring to MLV when you were talking about your vinyl floor.

I don't know enough about the vinyl flooring but the MLV is 1/8" thick and needs to have a weight of 1 lbs per square foot. That's the audio sound deadening benchmark.

Maybe you could get away with your vinyl flooring with a closed cell foam underneath it.

I read all your posts last night about this. I really think you're on to something regarding the master cylinders. Maybe one of our math/engineering geniuses on here could estimate the difference in regard to pressure, etc. I actually think you're spot on correct about it, just would be nice to see it verified.

 

I was tempted to do the tundra brake upgrade when my pads wear out. My logic being: I am 2/3rds of the way there anyway. Closer if I have another caliper seize. A deal breaker for me is that I want a factory brake pedal feel.

 

Hanes manual says Ethylene glycol coolant, so your truck does not require the red or pink coolant as other years, as long as your gallon isn't diluted then you can add water for the rest it is 5.5qt.
And you are looking at 2.1qts for a drain and fill of the trans. And Dexron 2 for the trans. No Toyota brand needed

Yuck. This is why I plan on doing mine this year. At 179K currently and it's never been done.

 

You v6 guys have it easy. Ours is located under the intake manifold in no-man's-land.

 

Yeah screw that. I might very well be not changing mine this year if I had a 4cyl. That's a terrible location.

 

If you use the provided bolts on the wheelers kit there are no issues. I've been running that way for 15,000 miles.
