I envisioned that camel with a cigarette and a burger after that experience.

Nice today in my neck of the woods. Washed and waxed the truck and put the Lumenx film on. Not too impressed with them, I hope they even out. I'm sure it's my mistake though.

There's a snapshot somewhere of me with a big stupid camel at the rec area on Dhahran AB. I think some prince gave the camel to Gen Schwartzkopf and it somehow ended up chained up by a palm tree out by the swimming pool for photos. Thinking back now, it kind of makes me sorry for the camel. o_O

    Hiya @Chuck

I had that Lumenx film on the fogs in my Tacoma for a while ... I didn't really care much for it and ended up taking it off, cleaning off the adhesive goop and running the fogs white. :notsure:

So long as the Vet approved it? They used to say the dairy products came out of Saudi. I just couldn't imagine a dairy farm in the desert.

Was bored awhile ago and looking at YouTube videos and stumbled upon this video

In my younger years I was an avid backpacker and hiked most of the John Muir trail in the central Sierra''s . I've been on some peaks close to Mt Whitney but never attempted the summit of it

I've eaten enough locally sourced food over the years don't really care for much except "locally sourced" food now, not really interested in foreign food anymore.

One of my earliest chores was to get 2 gallons of milk out of the bulk tank every other day. Grew up on milk and still love it, wasn't long ago before I was finally able to choke down 2%. On deployments on ships one of the first things you run out of used to be milk. We pulled into Greece and sitting at an open air bakery eating pastries I saw a glass of milk go by and immediately ordered one. Took a huge swig and spit it all over everything and everyone. It was goats milk.

Made Chief and one of the first things I noticed was that the Chief's mess had milk long after the general and First Class Mess ran out. Damn wish they would have told me I would have behaved better and worked harder on making it there sooner.

    Great looking truck!

Yeah Moose.. I think next time I'm just gonna replace the bulbs with yellow and let it roll. There's a couple of base Prerunners running around, SSM just like mine so I try to make mine look a little different.

Just woke from a good nap. Tired myself out running errands, mounting all new handles and knobs on base cabinets and leveling doors. Then made some corn tortillas from scratch and cooked some chicken fajitas .used press my wife got me.
Gotta do some more cooking for the week in awhile.

Witney is one I won't climb, there is a lottery for the permits and you have to haul your wag bag out, which no one does, tons of them all over the place. White mountain peak is open and can be done in a day and is a few feet shorter.
I would tell you but you left me off the list. :(
