I would love to have an alucab RTT and their Shadow awning, but that is a 5k set up. for 1.5k you can get a solid RTT and a foxwing awning. Wont be quite as nice though.

If I was loaded, I'd be all alucab.

Yea, that is why I am on the fence right now. I am selling my ARB awnings and was thinking of getting a Foxwing... I may be able to get a great price on one possibly.

    Shoooot I know!

Has to be Toyota related though.

Man I wish on that... so expensive though!

Bingo! I have actually had them on for quite a while, it will be interesting as I have not taken them off yet. They'll either be rusted to shit or in pristine condition. Got them due to the fact my OME shocks where destroyed after many dirt miles. The pitting allowed the coils and shocks to start rusting and all the paint/coastings started chipping off. Did not want that to happen again.

Same reason I bought these things. Icon rear shock rock guards. They are for gravel being kicked up and pitting the shaft.

I need to rotate my shocks though because the bypass tubes will hit when compressed. I have them off for now.

    1. How do you like the prinsu with the RTT?
    2. Also have you noticed any damage to your Shell with the weight on it?
    3. What kind of shell do you have and is it reinforced?

My tent isn't on the prinsu. Or are you asking how I like the tent on the back prinsu on the front combo?
I do have damage to my shell. Had a very rough trip in Canada.
Cap is a Leer 100R, It is not reinforced.

Are you talking about Bold Overland or Overland Expedition?

The Overland Expedition videos have always been well done IMO, even the Return to the Mackenzie was cool to me, yea it was short, but I think it was kinda supposed to be instead of a full on season.

From Expedition Overland AK/UK series, EP1: The intro monolog ...

    "Adventure looks different to everyone.
For some, it might be as simple as a camping trip.
Or, it could mean a journey around the world.

Amelia Earhart simply stated that adventure is worthwhile within itself.
I can get behind that, sure.

But, you can't honestly define adventure for yourself until you've wrestled with it. Until its beat you down, and picked you back up again. I believe that true adventure lies beyond what you might think is safe, or obtainable. That's where you see miracles happen. Where you get smacked by the harsh reality of the present.

Evan Shinar is famous for saying, "It's not adventure until something goes wrong."

Without mistakes, conflicts, or breakdowns, your story ... will simply be boring.

I believe that adventure is the distance between the preset and the fulfillment of your dreams. How you navigate the in-between is the great unknown."

I think it's the part: "Without mistakes, conflicts, or breakdowns, your story ... will simply be boring.", that I have seen since the South America trip. It has been boring.

Ah, I bet they will have a new season hopefully sometime this year. Heck, they are getting as much promotion as possible and I would be all about that right now.

I'm all about promotion. These guys figured out a way to get paid while overlanding and to make it their day job. I get that sponsors want their money's worth out of them. But lately their show feels like an extended infomercial. A very well shot and produced infomercial. But still ...

I've been hoping... But... Not holding my breath. Unless they are trying to put it on tv/Netflix and need more video. But one would think they'd mention that.
