Tooter told me wasn't going to give up the drawings and doesn't trust anyone with his confidential drawings...I can respect that..his time and effort. He would only use a CNC place he has vetted. I gave up on this and with CARB wasn't sure how much work was the install and removal each time.

You take a stock flange and double the thickness, but tooter spent the time with the dyno to get the right thickness. It would require someone to measure theirs and reverse engineer the measurements.... if you wanted to go that route.

Tooter is off doing other projects for now... this was the last PM he was kind enough to respond.

It's his choice obviously, but it seems a bit overboard for a product he doesn't even want to make anymore.

Last I read it was 2" thick, is that not the final thickness?

I wouldn't bet the farm on that number...so best if someone who has the original tooter to measure the thickness with caliper to tell you. Otherwise you are starting a a certain point and without dyno to verify if that was the right thickness. If you got the original thickness required and then it's just a matter of taking the original intake and tracing all the hole locations and getting longer bolts. Your CNC machine can do the rest.

I have no caliper but I have a measuring tape with inches and mm and the IM spacer.......I'll bet it is 2" and take that farm.................

I just measured mine with calipers and it's 2". That said, it's not like that is some magic number or something. It's roughly big enough to have an effect, and small enough that the manifold still has clearance. He supposedly verified that it provides results on a dyno, but it's not as if he arrived at that thickness after a long series of trial and error. It's just an intake spacer that some guy designed in his garage, not some grand feat of engineering that has been honed to perfection.

Thanks for confirming the dimension. We don't plan on selling these but I will look into getting a few made.

It's the same engine so it would work the same.

I want to note that I'd be in if the price could somehow be lowered. Hard to justify the original asking price by tooter for a marginal lower peak torque.

I'd pay 255 all day for that amount of gain..... not including possibly taking the measurements and tweaking them for more gain, I myself would mill it out of steel or the appropriate heat bearing metal.
