 Morning (round one). Lightly snowing outside again when I let the dogs out. There'll be a worthwhile amount on the drive by the time I get to clearing it when daylight comes.

But nothing got tore up or blown away ... that's a win.

    You too Jim. :hattip:

    That sucks.
:fingerscrossed: It stays ahead of you and you don't catch back up with it.

    Morning Rob.
Thanks but I might since I'm heading NNE. Hope you had a good time yesterday.
We all needed the rain just not all at once.
Gotta haul a tandem cargo trailer up to Austin first. Glad the storm is gone thru where I need to hitch it up. That would of sucked to do in the rain.

It went well enough, I didn't have much to pay attention to at the tuxedo place; for the most part Meghen's (son's fiancee) Dad and I discussed fishing and hunting plans for the upcoming season. Time of year we all start getting anxious and tired of Winter. We all had dinner together after, and that was nice. I'm thankful her people are down to earth and we get along well.

EDIT: Take your time when you catch back up with that storm. ;)

That's good. Pays to have good in laws instead of outlaws.

 Don't forget your sleeping chair. ;)

I'm gonna watch a little TV and lull myself into second nap.

Stay safe out there my friend.
    :hattip: I'll second that. :)

Day off today. Supposed to be slightly cooler today compared to yesterday. Got up in the low 60's here.
Weather guessers say no snow storms for the next week and a half, only rain now and then.
At least you don't have to shovel rain.
Got done pruning the fruit trees yesterday.

Suppose I'll be qualified to discuss a little way dwn here @ bottom of pg.
I was wanting to do a whole new thread but the youngin's aren't acting . . . like posting to mine. .
All those fancy trucks esp the ones that are bought by parents.
Anyway, suppose a few words could be said about a fictitious topic that some have thought about.
CoDriver,101, for any off road or rally-type competition. Am I qualified ? Not really but this topic needs to be brought to the surface I hope ?
1st off: (categories of such an endeavor) counting the costs of: family, ect. they might not allow it
also " must I donate my rig/DD/Tacama, ect as part of the journey ? Next : Am I mentally, physically,
capable of such " " ? Next, will you be able to develop a relationship with your driver for a good amount of time. Moments will arise where you'll be told to change a tire in 2 minuets otherwise foul words may follow. The CoDriver must not take it personal when Driver grabs him by jacket & shakes him ! !
This is very important ! ! Are you willing to go through all the mental, physical traits needed? Also your BMI must not exceed 25 on the chart. More to come on this important topic. Also if by chance your on a winning crew, don't think that its the all & all, your journey is just beginning. Could I do it ? I don't know but they'd have to convince my wife 1st.

Back in 1995 I got a chance to be a co driver in a Class 7 HDRA Ford Ranger at a 250mile race at Plaster City Ca . My job was basically the same as today's SCORE race series

This race was my first experience in this type of racing and I had a lot of fun . The bottom of my feet got burnt from an overheated transmission . My shoulders were black and blue and very sore from the 5 point harness and it took me maybe 4 days so my eyesight could focus again

If this were my cargo trailer I'd get into so much trouble. Lights don't work, broken lenses, etc.
Being state property I may get lucky idk.
But I'm still taking back roads. Need a little more light.

Glad you're playing it slow and safe ... lightless trailer in a rainstorm, that's not good. :(
