    Date: April 6-9 2017
I am going to BBNP in April, there are a few people from the DFW BS thread that has expressed interest so i started this thread to give up a designated thread to plan the trip.

This trip will be a 4 day / 3 night trip through the back country area of the park, we plan to camp at a different camp site each night. The plan is to start on the west side of the park and drive along the Rio Grande (River Road) to the west side of the park. Camp sites are on the small side, so if the group gets too large we may have to get multiple camp sites.

    • Gear needed for the trip:~names will be added beside the items people are bringing (this is to help reduce the amount of stuff needed to be packed by everyone)
      • Food
        • :hungry: you will be responsible for your own lunch and snacks! However you can bring extras if you want!
**This is depending on how may people we have going, we may need a couple people cooking if we get a decent sized group.**

I wouldn't count on it. I have a lot of other things I need to use Vaca days on this year.

I looked at the Farmer alminac from the last few years and it looks like the dates that i picked shouldnt be to bad. Highs were usually around the mid 70s and lows were in the 60s. Should be good for hammocks and such...

If you hammock, bring some stands to setup. Not a lot of trees outside of the Chisos.

I'm definitely in. I'll add to the list some things. Probably just me but may have a rider come along.
