The Leer dealer that sold me the shell and Yakima/Thule salespeople say the tracks are universal. In fact, my Leer brochure calls them Thule Tracks.
    My Yakimas fit just fine.

Can you post up some pics of the Chemical Guys products you used to get that result? I have the foam cannon and tons of their stuff, love it!!! There are so many options for the clay mitts and other products you mentioned, just wanted to be sure before ordering. Thanks

Thanks. I like the look of the Yakima. Good to know we have more options than just the Thule.

Has anybody with sunroof noticed it leaking??? Only noticed recently while shade was pulled back.

Took mine to car wash and noticed fairly good leak. Have appointment with dealer tomorrow.

Sorry for long video clip. You can see small drip early on with minimal water exposure, then good blast of water leaking with about 20 seconds before end of clip.

Hey, I used the blue clay mitt (top of photo). I also used Citrus wash and gloss in the bucket and honeydew snow foam in the foam cannon! Also dried it using a small blower

Trying to get the correct part for the header bed rail like yours. Received this response:

We were double checking your order according to your VIN number, and noticed that one of the items on your order (part number PT278-35100-BH) does not show to be a correct fit for your vehicle. This part shows to fit a 2015 Tacoma, but not a 2017 like yours. Would you like to continue with this item still on the order, or would you like for us to remove/refund this item and continue? Just let us know how to proceed.

Is that the correct part number for a 2017 TRD OR?

According to this thread, it is the model from the 2015 and the first post provides a part number for you. Same width bed on the 3rd gen, just deeper.

I haven't done it so I can't personally guarantee but by all accounts, yes.

This was one of the known issues with the 3rd. Gen Tacomas as well as leaking rear window seals. Your Toyota dealer should be aware of the causes and corrections. I would try searching TW under known 3rd. Gen issues. I believe somone created a thread covering this.

Took it to the woods with some fellow Toyota enthusiasts my wife and shitsu even joined. Decided to go with that two tone paint color as well.

Anyone know how to remove the chrome end caps? I see three black plugs but is there anything else I need to remove for it to come off?

    Here ya go!
Thanks to @FtApache for a detailed Rear Bumper Removal Guide

    Tools:
    -12mm socket
    -Philip head screwdriver
    -Flat head screwdriver

Time commitment: Between 15-25mins for removal and 10-20mins for install = 25-40mins total

    Step 1: Remove license plate

Step 2: (2a) Depress the tabs for the trailer plug and license plate lights and pop them out of their sockets. (2b) Disconnect wiring harnesses for the trailer socket and license plate lights located behind the bumper. (2c) Remove the three push pins pushpins shown below
    [IMG]

Step 3: Two snap clips are visibe and can be easily seen from beneath. Hint-it's located towards the end of the bumper. Pick a side and gently start prying the snap clips using a long flat head screwdriver (or other prying device) to free them from their sockets. Patience is key here. Start slow and take your time. You do not want to rush or apply too much pressure (just enough to free the snap clips). Too much pressure will break the snap clips

Step 4: Remove the six 12mm bolts shown below. Start with the upper bolts. Then remove the two bottom bolts
    [IMG]

Step 5: If you do not have sonar sensors, the rear bumper end caps should now be free. If you have the senors, carefully remove them

Step 6: Remove the push pins and gator clamps shown below
    [IMG]

Step 7: The outer end caps should now be removed easily

Reverse the steps above when reassembling. Remember to take your time. Do not rush doing this. Replacement endcaps are expensive. So take your time while doing this.
