Struggling between keeping or selling the cruiser when I move. I have had a lot of fun driving that ol' thing around town and on the basic dirt roads. Lizzy is going to be selling her xterra before she moves out with me to get a 4x4 vehicle (probably a 4runner). I have a lead on a rental with a shop and another with a detached garage that is a "ok" size to work on a vehicle in. So it may be nice to still have two vehicles when I finally can get back to working on BabyT. Half tempted to sell it and look at getting a cheap car as a DD though.

Yeah tons of fun, went down for my buddies wedding and did the hog hunt that night. The ranch has lots of Axis and Sika deer on it too, saw these 2 fellas at 3 in the morning and laid waste

    Dude..you're moving to ID..

    You'll want a DD with 4wd. A cheap DD car isn't a thing with 4wd..haha

I mean the cruiser was 2k. I'd say that was a cheap DD. I'll probably just fix it, leave it with Lizzy and she can drive it out when she visits.

    So good.

I'll bring some next trip. Either pickled eggs or just pickles. Quite good. Be my version of your salsa Mike :p @Digiratus

@m3bassman, Thunderbirds and snowbirds are going to be performing at the air show in Boise Oct. 14-15. Might be over there for that one. Blue Angels are doing Idaho Falls July 22-23 as well... might be a good summer

Is yours a FJ60? Still kicking myself in the ass for not pulling the trigger on an '87 last summer.

FJ80. I passed up a FJ60 when I was looking. They get listed pretty cheap around here at times.

So had a false moment of hope today.

My dad calls me, says he found me a truck. Naturally I am intriguired because he never wants me to spend money.

So I ask what it is, he sends a pic and some details. 2003 tacoma double cab, grey, with 94000 miles. Says not a scratch on it but needs a windshield and tires.

    Guy wants 10k.

I told him to buy it right then and there and I will pick it up this weekend.

He starts talking to the guy and i ask for some interior pics.

No 4wd lever...i wanted to cry.

Yep! Made pickled eggs. Then after dumped some baby cucumbers in jar. Both were delicious. Devin ate most of them. She couldn't stop haha

I have driven a few of the newer rubicons and honestly...i would never buy one.

Felt underpowered, even compared to my heavy as rig. And so loud on the road in normal use. Cramped as well. Only reason i would have one is to take the top off.
