We went to C'ville today and drove through Madison twice, obviously, I looked for Hunter and Jalyn but didn't see anyone. I thought I saw Hunter's truck but wasn't sure. Pretty day for driving. Saw a bunch of Tacomas but nobody I even remotely rcognized

Got my truck back from the body shop today. Washed and waxed the truck and washed the car.

crap did they tell you safe to wax already? Most wax is scilicone based and seals the paint and prevents the remaining solvents from escaping to cure the paint. If we have to cut and rub a paint job or they want us to go ahead and wax we have to use a scillicone free product. Don't mean to be a Debbie downer I hope it's ok. Now post some pics

Ah very true man, normally thats one of the first disclaimers I ever get if something was freshly painted as it needs time to cure completely just like Casper said.

I asked if there was any amount of time that I had to wait before I washed it, and they said I could wash and wax it right away.

Well you should be good to go then and if something happens you have that to fall back on. Even when they had to do paint work on my wifes car they told me they knew that I knew but no wax for 90 days. I'll mind my own buisness now. Sorry wasn't trying to be a pain. Different shops tell people different things

    No worries.

I knew to ask because my dad had his pickup painted back in the 90s, and they told him not to wash/wax for some amount of time. Heck...when I bought my car back in Sept, they told me not to wash/wax it for a month.

In my first post. I tried to link it from google photo originally, but it didn't work. I edited the post to fix it.

They fixed all the tree damage and the things that I asked them to fix. There are still some scratches and small dings that weren't from the tree and I didn't ask them to fix. Overall, it's in better shape than it was before the tree fell on it.

when I looked at the HS on the way back there weren't any cars there. I thought I saw his truck at the light at McDonalds on the way down. White 1st egn with a tool box in the back looked like it had around 33's on it maybe 265's I couldn't really tell
