I recently got an '09 reg cab and was looking into some bigger tires because the stocks are awful. Anyone know if 265/75r16 would fit comfortably without any lift? Also, any suggestions on what type? If anyone has any reg cab pictures with this tire size that would be awesome.

265/75 R16 will fit without any problem as long as you have stock wheels. I run Hankook Dynapro atm in that size on my dclb with no lift.

How do you like the Dynapros? I was considering those as my next AT tire and have heard pretty good opinions...

What do you have on there now? The 265/75/16's are about like a 31 x 10.50

265/75/16's are about perfect. They are about 1" taller than and the same width as 265/70/16's that come on many Tacoma's. An inch wider and taller than 245/75/16's that come on other models. Big enough to look good without having any real impact on fuel mileage, power or the speedometer. In fact my speedometer is now accurate after the change. It was off by 2-3 mph before. I've been running that size for the last 3 years. Wish I'd gone to that size earlier.

They can be a little slick in the rain on oily roads but for snow covered and dry roads they are really good. My first set seemed to cup on the edges and I rebalanced them a lot. My second set are good, wearing evenly. I got a little under 30k miles out of my first set but I drive a little harder and faster than most. Vast improvement over the stock Dunlops.

I run Cooper AT3's in 265/75/16 with stock suspension. No issues. Makes the truck look way better IMO than stock size tires

Mostly miscellaneous electronic mods.... -2 spare Electrical fuse blocks hard wired to the battery with a key on relay. -Hard Wired Radar detector over rearview mirror. -2 Dual Whelen Avenger blue LED emergency lights, one on each side of the rearview mirror. -EP911 Blue LED Light Bar & Traffic Advisor, Rear Windows. -4 corner amber strobes in stock lights. -Hardwired RF Scanner with external speaker under center console. -Huskyliner front splash guards -Fireband 2 way radio in center console. -Herculiner painted on hitch and skid plate. -Switch to power one 12v socket when truck is off. -AntiDark LED strip under hood with switch. -Timbren Rubber Springs - Rear -MBRP Offroad Cat-Back with Resonator -Duratrac's -Provisor -Color matched hood bug shield
Duratracs, go up one size. they look great, give the truck a nice boost on stock suspension. the tires are awesome in snow and off road. they can be a little slick in the rain. only get slight buzzing on hard turns when the front suspension is compressed nbd.

Sorry I quoted you twice lol didn't mean to, but thanks man, and yes, the entire truck is stock, just got 50,000 miles on it. Still have a blank slate haha, but this helped me a lot.

Thanks man! I have talked to a couple people about size and I believe that's what I'm going with, just looking for as many brand/type suggestions as I can get, don't want to regret making my decision to early.
