Just another issue that at this point I don't even care... Ordered all new hardware, drums and shoes. Looks like the shoe retaining spring cup failed, which led to somehow destroying the shoe compound? (no idea), which lead to one end of the brake cylinder popping partially off leaking all the brake fluid out while I was offroading. Just another good time... Take a look at the photos, I'll answer questions until I get bored. I think the Toyota gods have it in for me :) (35k miles)

    Aaaaaand Go!

I did not look at the other side yet. Didn't have time... (ordered both sides)
I do not ride my brakes...

All I have to say is thank goodness 4lo first gear is stupid slow :) and I was able to use the parking brake to slowly come to a stop when limping out to the trailer which was waiting for me on more solid (not muddy) dirt.

    Never said anything about causation

Just saying poor guy had bad luck with crawl control now this

Toyota gods haven't been in your favor

    Feel your pain brotha

If every time we took this trucks out and had to get towed home, might as well have bought a Jeep or a Land Rover
