you probably could. They use the same mic. Just use a 6 conductor wire to run between the radio and a 6 pin keystone jack.

It won't be turned up all the way. If I'm way in some where I want to b able to get out. There's a switch to turn the amp off and 1 of the knobs to turn amp down. I just want to make sure I'm gonna be good. But does do Ham/ AM/ USB/ LSB 10 meters. And will work on the CB freqs

    Here you go.

If you notice, there is a slight gap between the body of the speaker and the console. The speaker cover has 'nubs' on it that are designed to engage the back of the speaker, and the screws that hold the two parts together pass through them. I was going to grind them off with the Dremel, but got lazy. The photos exaggerate the gap, it's quite unobtrusive in actuality.

I live in Ferndale, just south of Eureka. We moved out here from Ohio about a year ago.

You have some personal link to Eureka (CA)?

Very nice! I used to work at Broese's uniforms before I joined the military. You've probably been there.

Trying to figure out how to instal my cobra 75. Ive got a few questions. I've got the same bracket, how did you run the coax into the cab? What kind of cable did you use?

Did you bring a hot wire straight in from the battery or did you go through the fuse box?

    Thanks in advance

There are some plugs throughout the cab... I chose one near/under the passenger seat.
The cable is the Fire-Flex coax from Firestik. 18 feet is just long enough for the DCLB.
The CB radio I currently use (Midland 75-822) plugs into the cig lighter... no hard-wired hot wire necessary.
    Hope that helps!

If you were asking anyone... I'll chime in: my two radios (CB and Ham) are wired to battery, but I have other stuff going to the fusebox.

For ease of use, the fusebox is nice; and easy to tap with a mini-ATO tap. The 'AW1' 5A fuse is always hot if you want constant power for a low amp device like a CB or a cell phone charger. Most other fuses are ignition switched if you want power to turn on and off with the ignition.

The bolt holding the fusebox to the dash subframe is grounded, so it's easy to run your wiring to the fusebox and terminate both + and - right there next to each other, keeps everything tidy.
