Yeah 5100's are less than 400 for all 4. I want to say I paid like 325+ shipping from Wheelers. As Chad said I'm sure you'd get a good deal from Marie at Headstrong.

Where's a good spot to mount an inverter?

Not somewhere that the elements can get to it. Also, not sure I want to continue running things right off the battery.
I'm thinking maybe behind the center console, where some people have added usb ports for rear passengers

 

You could hide it under the center console (I think there is enough room) and extend the plugs through the back of the console? Or could put it under passenger seat?

 

Might do passenger seat or back of center console. I want access to turn it on/off and for other people to use if needed.

Put it right on a switch on the dash. Sweet switch from Otrattw that light up with a little light up symbols and letter!

Worst part of putting in my fogs, was the damn switch lol!

Apparently, there's a large chunk of steel right there between both levels of the accessory switches. A man with larger hands couldn't have done it. Not sure I wanna do it again, yet.

But very good idea! Putting it in my pocket for later.
Not sure which direction I'll take yet. probably run it with my CB power wiring as well. I can always put on a 12v plug for the cig lighter too
