Do any of you change model badging on your third gen ?

I used to love them back in the day when they were proper competitor to the D90. But now they are the rich kids play toy.

 

I've seen VW's put quattro badges as well which I still don't understnad.

I see a lot of the M ones though and always laugh.
Take a 335i and slap a Mbadge like its an M3, yet look at the tiny brakes and its a clear give away its not a real M

I saw a Challenger recently with a hell cat badge on it...but fake hellcat since badge was in the wrong spot. Which is even worse.
Try and fake it yet put the badges in the wrong spot like a fool.

 

when the e36 m3 was out

People would take 318 put dual exhaust pipes Change to m3 wheels
And they would even change to m3 mirrors

 

I guess it works for getting the idiots attention?

I know one chick that got really pissed at me when I called her out on it on facebook becasue she kept posting pictures with her boyfriends 'M3' got tired of it and said its not a real one lol. He then commented saying it is, I asked how come his M3 has single piston brakes in the pictures of the wheels. He never replied...

At one of the Canadian Sports Compact Series at the track/ show and shine thing some guy had a mustang with fake dual exhaust, fake roll cage, and fake GT500 badge.
Its so pathetic. Only person it will fool is some dumbass like this

I have a limited. thinkin of putting an SR badge on!

 

The only badge I will say I am considering adding in a way to replace something else is take the V6 badge off the back, and then buy the TRD Pro one thats on the back of the Pro, remove the pro part and just have the TRD part in place of the V6.

Not putting Pro as I do not have a pro, but like the blacked out TRD badge.
