Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

Or @uhplifted get the .22LR upper for your AR15 lower. Swap at the range.

Was thinking about going this route, but an upper alone is pretty pricy, I could get a whole new gun for that. Also, PM inbound about split buy

Yeah that's true. You save a bit but usually not enough. I only ever really recommend them so you can keep the same trigger/grip/etc. and have more time on that weapon just in a far cheaper food.

I used to shoot a buddy's CZ75 (9mm) with a .22LR conversion on it. Was nice 'cause it had all the same feel with a much lower price tag per magazine and of course shooting without ears on all day! (Don't do that )

I have the 16" and 20" CMMG .22LR dedicated upper myself. Brian, not really too "pricey"?! I would recommend going this route instead of the dumba$$ "conversion kit"!!! Shooting a .22LR through a .223/5.56 barrel SUCKS A$$ AND, on top of it all, that very same conversion kit is pricey in itself with a FULL GUARANTEE that your .22LR accuracy is SHI*!!! Yes, anyone can argue that it is just a .22LR, blah blah blah, but then why even bother with a .22LR conversion kit going through a slightly larger barrel size if your F'N shots are "walking"!!! That day that we were out there, I was having ALOT of fun with my 16". I was shooting the 100yd target, iron sights, and plink, plink, plink, etc etc etc!!!:infantry:

That's just my humble opinion on the matter.

    It's impossible and dangerous ;-)

The conversion uppers are full barrel/fore-end/sight/bolt/carrier. They're usually blow-back operation so there's not even a direct-impingement gas system to deal with.

HOLY HELL Denny!!!:fistbump: That is an interesting article and reading MOST of the comments was pretty interesting as well!!! Some comments made ALOT of sense and others left me wondering myself?! Me, personally, if I can stick to brass as much as possible, I think I would rather go that route for some time still!!! PROVEN!!! I'm all for advancement, but there are certain things that don't need to particularly change immediately. Or, again, for me personally, this alone doesn't make me want to RUSH in to going this route just yet!!! If someone else does, then good for them, but as for me, I don't know?! Just me I guess. :notsure:

Either way, a very, VERY interesting article for sure as well as advancements!!!

Btw, I like how the one person stated that the "internal casing size doesn't matter with reloads..." or something along those lines, LMFAO!!! I do NOT want to be around that guy with his own reloads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMFAO!!! :eek:o_O:boom::bananadead:
