Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I remember when the full-steel-pistol crowd called foul on Glock... :D

Denny, I know this because my friend has a .22LR conversion kit. You put in the "conversion bolt" in to your upper .223/5.56 upper receiver and use that very same barrel. The accuracy is just SHI*!!! The reason, if you think about it, is because the bullet is "bouncing around inside the barrel" as it travels outward!!!

That sounds like a horrible idea. At a bare minimum your rifling is not going to do any favors for the extremely light .22LR slug.

For that reason, I went with a dedicated .22LR upper!!!

My point exactly, but they're out there and the conversion kits, like I said, are pretty pricey in itself!!! So, the reason I went with a dedicated upper!!! If I want to shoot a 223/556 then I have the ability to do so. If I want to shoot the 22 round, I have the ability to do so without affecting ANY type of accuracy or questioning the shots taken!!!

Oh, that was my suggestion as well. Either that or a separate rifle. I love my Marlin 60 with Vortex scope and thumbhole stock!

Ya, I would get a full upper just for the .22, but I'd rather just have a separate .22 gun itself. Don't wanna deal with switching uppers out and such, even though I know it's not hard

Marlin 60. Out the door for $200. Pay more than the rifle in scope/accessories, etc.

I'll look in to it all. Not gonna order any rifles just yet, maybe in a month or two I will though. But I'll have the ammo ready to go :D

@digitaLbraVo after just a quick price check, looks like I'll probably go the Marlin 60. Cheapest one out there, put that extra $100 towards the ammo we just bought or a scope haha

LMAO!!! I have a separate .22LR myself!!! I have a Ruger 10/22 with a Tapco stock assembly. Sorry @digitaLbraVo Denny. LOL!!!

The 10/22 does shoot pretty damn smooth, in my humble opinion!!! What I like about the 10/22 is that there are so many stock designs you can buy just outright or buy and customize to your liking (even paint wise)!!!

I do agree with Denny though with his choice as well.

Last, but not least, here is an interesting read about the .22LR round and there was another read that I saw that also stated that only specially trained IDF units carrying these rifles were allowed to use them. F'N IDIOTS that say a 22 doesn't do any damage/kill is just what that person is, A F'N IDIOT!!! In my humble opinion, that very same person that says shi* like that should NOT be firing a weapon due to the fact of no respect towards any round. Even a BB gun will kill someone people!!! I don't know bros, I respect any projectile coming towards me and not gonna F'N be the dumba$$ to prove otherwise!!! LMAO!!! :notsure::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I hate ruger for political reasons. :)

The Marlin 60 was the first .22 I ever shot. 3rd rifle I bought and I love it. I put a Boyd's thumb hole on it and have been through 3 scopes now. Can't beat that 15/16rnds of tube fed tasty compared to the 10rnd limit the 10/22 deals with... WHICH THEY HAVE BILL RUGER TO THANK FOR... err sorry. My politics came through there.

Ask them if they're so confident you can shoot them and they can't go to the doc.

Same one on my 9mm AR-15. Thing is fantastic. I'm looking to put something similar on my Saiga sporter. Soon as I can justify another clamp-on-rail.

I'll be buying a 3x magnifier for it at some point. It's awesome. Gotta get that .22 first though haha
