Its a pretty penny for kings so I'm worrying about it now!

 

Just saw someone driving a right hand Cherokee.

 

That company I mentioned makes the batch to order every time you order and it uses factory specs for color. I've ordered multiple cans in different batches and they have all matched perfectly. You can order as many or as few as you'd like and it always comes out the same. Getting your color and enough of it should never be a problem.

I think it comes from a military thing... I read it somewhere in the thread when they were talking about this, and peeps were submitting designs for it.

I think it's along the lines of, if you get asked by someone to show yours and don't have one, and they do, you buy a round type thing.

 

Ive got a long list of mods/parts wanted ... TW coin just doesnt make the cut

 

I hear that. Still think it'll get one or two... not too expensive so won't hurt the wallet too much.

 

If you show yours then everyone else must show theirs. If someone doesn't have their they are buying! If you show yours and everyone else has one then you're buying.

 

I think someone called it a challenge coin.

Anytime. That's why they call them Challenge Coins. You are presenting a challenge when you slam yours down on the bar.

They are usually given out or earned in the military, and theirs can include rank just to make things interesting.

 

IIRC there are more rules to the challenge regarding if everyone has their coin. I think if everyone has their coin and someone has a second coin they can up the ante. Not positive there though

 

A good excuse to buy more than 1 then!

 

So if I buy enough coins,I get free drinks all night?

Looks like I was off about the second coin! Oh well, a guy can dream right? I've got a Louisiana State Trooper Challenge Coin that I earned for out-shooting my grandfather with his service revolver.

Ill just say this if im at a bar with any of you lovely TW folks ill buy first round regardless of who has there coin. It is a cool design tho even if i voted for a dif design when the vote was live...
