    What I did with _my_ 3rd gen today was take it to the dealer for a scheduled service (I know, I know) and while I was waiting I wandered the lot to look at _their_ 3rd gens. I was surprised how many used ones they had - out of 20 used Tacos, 3 were 3rd gen. They also had a brand new, not yet prepped, cement gray TRD Pro 4Runner. Very appealing.

    Santa Maria or SLO by any chance? I went to Santa Maria and they had nothing but SR5 4Runners and no Tacoma TRD Pro's. I really wanted to see a Pro 4runner!

    How about what taco did to me?
    While driving felt something on my left foot (the useless one for AT operators) and thought is a whatever but big. Turned out to be the left kick panel came loose. Just picked the truck from the dealer and is coming apart?
    Pulled off road and tried to put it back but the 2 white plug thingys won't find the holes to go back in. Any secret to put it back? Looks like the dealer did something in there (their alarm system on lot?) and did not put it back the right way. Driving with all the wires and connectors exposed now.

    Started and finished my @Mobtown Offroad IFS Skid plate install. Looks good, feels good. Mildly difficult to install single-handedly in my wet parking lot, but it does weigh 60 lbs. I rattlecanned it flat black.

    Well I bought 5 like new TRD black beadlocks lastweek and today I bought 4 Toyo Open Country A/T2 from the local tire shop to be installed tomorrow.

    So to recap I'm going from
    265/65r17 Toyos on a Sport to
    265/75r16 on the TRD Beadlocks.

    Yes I know the tire is bigger, but it's not enough to cause issues on a stock sprung truck.

    I'm more curious on MPG's I know there will be some decline, but my last tank was 23.5 eh.
