that said. Ditto on the wrangler..drove a rubi last year. fuckin so bad. Idk why people buy them.

 

I drive my buddy's Wrangler every once in a while and holy shit are they unstable, shaky, and loud as hell.

No way would that work with 700 lb coils ha.

 

I had both a 2dr and 4dr Rubicon. If I could have either one as an extra while still having my Tacoma I 100 percent would. The newer ones with the 3.6 and a 6 spees get around well, at least as well as my Tacoma does now with 285s. My roof never leaked and it took the off all the time.

 

I know they dont get much love around here, but they can be fun if you remember why you buy a Jeep. Plus if you throw a set of 33s on an otherwise stock Rubicon, and you have something that can handle just about any trail around here. There's not much better than cruising around without doors off.
As soon as more of the soccer moms start trading their 4drs off on the new model and the prices start to fall I think we will pick one up again.

 

Definitely going to do the one in Idaho Falls, since it's only a two hour drive. Want to do the one in Boise, but I have a trip on the 15th and a six hour drive after walking around with the kids all day...well. But that's a badass air show to have in your backyard.

 

I don't really have anything against them. I just think the 4runner is a better option. I did love cruising with the top off. I wouldn't want to buy a used Rubi unless it was a soccer mom selling it. And I wouldn't want to buy one unless it was a Rubi.

 

If it isn't a Rubi it won't hold its value well at all.

on a different note. I can't believe how much smoother my truck drives in this warm weather haha

I don't recall any of the vehicles you've mentioned her looking at bing locked and on 35s...

Id get two rigs, Devin and I could go on trips by ourselves then an have a vehicle for recovery and such. Be nice for long weekend trips on occasion. Oh wait..i already have two rigs..

That said. The only jeep worth getting is a rubi but your not one to listen to any of us when it comes to spending money much less on vehicles.

So yeah, we poke and jest because that's all we can do.
