    Hey everyone,

I am wondering if any one would be interesed in purchasng a set of HID headlights from PlasmaGarage.com. I have been talking to the admin for the site about a possible club buy on H4 HID kits for the 2nd Gen Tacomas. There are various colors to choose fom as well as fog lights kits as well. They seem weary about the idea, but are willing to give us some kind of discount if we have enough members interested, if you are interesred in this offer, please reply to this thread and i'll track the numbrs and get back to the boys @ PlasmaGarage and see what we can work out. if your not interested in waiting but still want the conversion thier kits are $300, everything included.

    Thanx,

    - Osiris117 (matt)

$300, that's kinda steep for HID conversion kit. Are they BiXenon (both Hi/Low beams)?

    haha,:D
yeah $300 bucks is kind of steep, but with the cheeper kits you have to beware of the ballasts being cheep, I have had a few friends run into this problem when buying what they thought was a killer deal. One guys ballast actually exploded under his hood:eek::eek:. With HID kits usually the bulbs and other components are of good/high quality. With these kits they are BiXenon, both high and low beam, these are also a complete 100% swap kit no mods necessary, as well I think that they offer a 6000k, 8000k, and a 10,000k, I'm not 100% sure I'll have additional info when I get a response back. I'm hoping for something like 50% discount.
I am still looking into what kind of deal that I can get from them, however they do offer free shipping, and the deal that I got was if I got a matching set of fog lights they were gonna throw in a free battey realy ($50 value), or a 10% discount. If anyone else knows of a better place that I should be looking, then be all means leave the site and maybe I can work out a better deal.

Dang, that's not bad at all. Just curious, do you need to relay to the battery or can you just simply use the stock wiring and plugs.

Moto, I would get the relay to be on the safe side, that way, the ballasts are drawing power directly from the battery rather than just the OEM headlight plug. Mod-express.com makes good stuff, I recommend getting them.

OP, have you got pics of the kit? I'd like everyone to see what they're getting for 3 Benjis.

    Hey everyone,
I just heard back form the admin @ plasmagarage, and the best that they can offer us is a 10% discount to everyone that buys a kit, however that is only ifwe can get 100 orders:(:(. that really sucks:eek:, so i'm going to say at this time im not going to order any:(, I will however keep in touch with a few more sites that I know of and see what they can cook up for us.
If you are looking for a set of HID's at a decent price checkout www.blinglights.com:cool:, they have an ebay store as well as the website, their kits look way better than those @ plasmagarage, and area quite abit cheaper in price as well. I'll keep you all posted to all offers as I get them.
