    My cousin has had 3. He has upgraded it every few years and told me he will never buy another now. The Rubicon holds its value well because its arubicon. Whether or not people know what it is its the name that does it. He buys them because its a rubi and it has the offroad capability but it honestly just sits in his garage. He hates it around town.

    The regular ones get beat on because people think they are indestrucable jeeps and this drops the price. The price also drops on the normal ones because they just arent really that great of vehicles. I understand what she is looking for and normally I would say go for it. But you WILL lose money on it significantly more if it isn't a rubi.

    Love not having car payments right now

    Screw payments. Save up for a year and buy something used with cash. At most I would do a 10k loan if I was in a bad spot and needed a decent vehicle to see my through a few years.

    Really though!

    On another note, just got back from driving my buddy's Wrangler to diagnose some engine trouble. Looks like he is either running rich or we have a sensor issue, keeps pegging AFR voltage, plateauing and then goes back to normal oscillations. The joy of Chrysler products, they keep people like me busy :)
