Pulling it out all the way and then setting up tent. Then collapsing the top couple of rungs to get the correct height

I can lend you brackets off mine so you can make your trip. Let me know if they're needed and I'll priority ship them to you...then return them when you get the rest of your hardware.

My ladder is good to go.

Pulling the ladder all the way out and using it to open the tent, then adjusting to the proper height.

This...except I was collapsing one or two bottom rungs. Top rungs make more sense now that I think about it.

Holy run on sentence. I would be frustrated too, hopefully these issues are sorted before the (possibly) next group buy.

I'm usually super impatient with new things and have to install them or use them right away, so I'd be pissed to have to look at a tent I can't use.

You should've reached out...my offer stands. I would've (and still can) popped my hardware in the mail to you. My tent is on a furniture dolly in the corner of my garage with the hardware in the bed cubby of my truck. :notsure:

Ander, you asked for a video of the weak ladder. Here is a video of me collapsing the run with just my hands, not even standing on it.

That's a real bummer dude. So you can't safely use the RTT because of the ladder not locking? As much as a RTT cost, I'd expect everything to be pretty solid. Especially if so many different brands are essentially being manufactured in the same facilities. Granted maybe the ladders are being sourced separately. I'm still comparing these products and narrowing it down to either this company or Freespirit Recreation. And so far, I'm not seeing the best experiences dealing with Geo Adventure Gear.

Have to be honest we didn't have the greatest luck on this lot due to obvious issues with the ladder we are working on it and for those who are requesting the ladder exchange they are being granted as they come in. Bummed to see it happening during our Tacoma World group buy we're doing our best to satisfy everyone on a timely manner! thank you all for you cooperation -Ander
