    Next week a 2 hour season finale. Looks like they found some coins and other crap - at least according to the next weeks preview at the end of this weeks episode.

    I'm guessing the $ they are making off the TV show are bankrolling their treasure explorations.

    No, but according to next weeks preview segment, at the end of this weeks show, for the 2 hour season finale they detail finding some large metal piece (that is part of a chest) and a/some gold coin(s).

    They also highlight "treasure has been found" during the preview.

    I'll believe it when I see it.

    My thoughts exactly.... I think that might play a whole lot into all the different treasure seeking expeditions on the island. They have to get funding to dig this stuff from somebody and for that you have to show "results"
