But I need a 8 feet bed and I think double cab tundra with long bed looks best

Tundra crewmax with short bed looks worst

 

Loaded Some weight in the back, set pinion angle, tac'd perches. Threw in gas tanks.

I've disconnected the aux fuse box and no issues for the last three days having the truck start up after sitting for 12+ hours each time so I'm pretty sure it was the wires since that was the only variable that changed between having the bumper on and after taking it off in terms of electrical things.

I didn't look too carefully at the wires inside, but I assume it was just the two that completed the circuit between the lights and the fusebox, but the wiring on the truck is kind of a shoddy job, and I've been too busy with other things on it to tear into it right now. I'll be redoing all the aux wiring including rock lights, amp, and any aux lighting I choose to install. I have some LED strips I'm going to use for the turn markers - I'm interested to see if they'll hyperflash or just work like normal - as long as they keep my legal I'm happy for $20. We'll see!

 

I have also done the search for keyless entry and found that on my 02 the dealer told me a similar thing and that the should be a box under my driver seat if it was wired for keyless entry. I think there is aftermarket ones and maybe you local car shop maybe able to install one.
