    Looks great!!

I've dropped my budget on a couple racks and other GBs, but damn, tires are moving up now! Thanks for the pics and the size info!

If only there was somewhere someone could search to find the answer to this overly common question without starting a new thread, hmm... Maybe a box where a question can be typed and answer would appear? Even google gave multiple results on that same question for 3rd gen pros (in tacomaworld at that). Technology sure is wonderful when used!

Lol - cmon Tyler. You remember when you first joined Tacoma world probably pumped on your new tacoma with a whole bunch of questions you could've quickly found in 5 other places.

Don't even stress it... Just get the 285s. You won't regret it for a second

He might if he's a pavement pounder (like most people) and he gets big heavy tires for no reason other than looks (like most people).

I mean it only brings down mpg by 1-2. No regret there for some sick tires. Even if it's just for mall crawling

For sure, to each their own! I'd love some taller tires no matter how tall they are already ha. Just seems like "no trimming" and "stock" won't go well if he pushes it.

I personally wish they made a C load 255/80-16 to match the height/width of 255/75-17s but with more sidewall :D

The main reason I don't wanna trim or mess with the suspension is because it's a new truck and I really don't wanna void any warranties.

Tiresize.com will make your wildest dreams come true... also sorry for laughing at your last comment. Honestly we all secretly start somewhere around this thread on our way to figureing out what type of rig we want.. (not all of us actually but the majority).. anyway way put on bigger tires? You do realize if you just get the same size and different tread pattern your truck will be just as capable.. I would put that money into rock sliders and a hc rear bumper from bruteforce..
