On my 2010 TRD-OR, DC, the passenger side front fender well has an area that looks like some venting louvers, but it is not the same way on the driver side.
Just curious if anyone knew why this was.
    Thanks for any input.
I did a search for this but could not find a thread for it, so I apologize if there is a thread already.

It's vented to allow air flow to the engine air intake. Pop the hood and follow the air cleaner (air filter) hose (about 5" diameter) toward the passenger side and you'll see what I mean.

my 2006 is vented as well, and I think that is why my passenger side fog light is always full of condensation as its right in front of the open fender well..... drivers side is fine.

The air for the intake comes up through the fender well and then into the fender so that the engine can suck the "freshest air" into the enigne. The intake has a pipe going straight into the fender on the left side of the engine bay.... and it keeps from water getting directly into your intake
