Anybody running dual exhaust? I know its an issue with my year due to the e brake cable being in the way. Pictures are appreciated

Do you mean "true" duals? Or duals from the muffler back? I had custom duals installed from the muffler back in 2009. They come off the muffler in its original spot at the passenger side, they go over the rear end then one pipe goes over the other between the leafs and spare tire, then they come together side by side as they sweep sideways out behind the back passenger tire. Can't take current pics as the truck is back over in gal's garage at her house. But here's a shot of them I took a while back

you don't need "dual" exhaust as even with the S/C there is enough flow. Also if you want true dual you have to contend with the e-brake, gas tank, and gas lines. You would need proper shielding to prevent heat build-up

Its to even out the sound of the exhaust. And i wanted an exit behind the driver and passenger rear tires. Id like to run true duals. But idk if there is aftermarket headers for that. Also if i did true duals couldnt i just put a fuel cell in the bed of the truck? I tried looking at fuel tanks and tool box combos. But there all for diesel. Would it be hard to switch that to gas?

with the 6 you have to contend with the steering column shaft that goes down to the rack. that's one of the reasons me thinks they kept it to the passenger side. and why Taco lean is so prevalent

Well could i split the exhaust before it gets to the cat? Then run it duals from there? Or could i run true duals by running the pipes side by side where the headers connect instead of connecting them?

This may be a cool thing. I always had in the back of my mind doing this and having the pipes exit just forward of the rear tire Nascar style. Like those Mercedes G-wagons. Might be a neat fit on yours.

Had this on my last car (Honda Element). The muffler I used was a Magnaflow Super 44 single inlet, dual outlet. Hah!

The shortness of my exhaust and the big tips make it pop and deeper. Im gonna put a borla muffler on the dual exhaust out the back and borla tips. So it wont be straight piped

Because not a lot of tacos have duals out the back there usually cut off at the axle or just a single outlet. I also love the look of the duals out the back. Just want to be different.
