Is this something only needed for trucks with shells?

I'm sure it would be beneficial for any tacoma but especially trucks with shells, bed racks, RTTs, etc.

The greatest mystery I have came across in life is how a toddler can get apple juice in a sippy cup onto the headliner of a vehicle on a routine basis. o_O

Yea I'm over the swing out. Eventually I'll get an off-road bumper but for now I'm good.

Noticed i was getting some sag in the front of my truck. Measured and apparently I have lost 1.5" of lift since I installed the 887s just over a year ago. I called wheelers and they offered to warranty them or hooked me up on something else. Ordered these.....

How do you like them? What adjustments did you make from their stock configuration?

They didn't have a smooth body. Didn't really want a remote resi. Plus they were more $$

Love them. With the 700# springs I cranked it four more times around.

 Thought I'd just chime in on that note.

My wife is driving an '07 Escape Hybrid and aside from a few minor things here an there it's still running like a top at ~180k miles. It uses around 1/2 qt. of oil between changes (5k mi interval) but it's still going strong with no mechanical issues at all. They're really well built little SUV's.

Glad you decided to keep your truck, though. I don't think you'll regret that decision at all. I'm in a very similar situation to what you were in. I could pay off my 2015 now but it'd put about a $18k dent in my savings. I even looked at getting an older model 4runner for running around in and taking in the woods to keep the miles and trail abuse on my truck at a minimum... but at the end of the day it just made the most sense for me to keep on with the 2015 and pay it off when I'm ready.

Build looks great, man. Been following for a while. Keep it up!

Thanks for the input. I am glad about the decision. Dumped a note and I have a sense of ownership now. I feel confident that I will keep this truck for a long time. It also gives me a peace about spending money on it (icon coils for instance). It's like I'm investing in my own truck. Also makes me think hard about the mods I do because I will be living with them for a long time.
