A quick 40 minute trip to Columbus and I will have the sweet nectar of Texas that is the official beer of Texas. Once again, I have found Lone Star Beer.     You sir are missing out. I first discovered this tasty treat when I lived in Murfreesboro TN. A little package store sold it. When I moved back to Alabama I couldn't find it anywhere. A package store in Lagrange GA sold it for about 6 months but they stopped over a year ago. I'm going to pick up a case today in Columbus.I'm not sure what the deal is and why it's so hard to find but I really wish I could find it in town.

    It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
    I had it in Tx. I drank it cause it was cheap, but it seemed like it was always skunked and hot. This was a few years ago, maybe I should give it another chance in a bottle.
