I defer to your experience on the height, I was under the impression they were factory lifted.

 

Picked up some brand new Mobtown bolt-on sliders from another member over the weekend and finally got around to installing them. Installation took about 4 hours by myself. Decided to go with these sliders after doing research on others, and I'm glad I did. Build quality and construction is solid, overall I'm impressed!

Putting in some work, these things were heavy!

In your defense, there are multiple automotive blogs that state the TRD Pro rolls off the line with a 1" lift.

On the fence about putting these step bars on my truck.

 

Ah no wonder these look different than the clutch SD ones I've been eyeing... do you happen to know the difference between these loball and clutch SD?

 

I like them if you have no intentions on wheeling. I plan on wheeling mine, so will need sliders.

 

Pelfrey does not, but the aluminum skid is significantly easier to take on and off solo. Took my like 3 minutes to install it with my floor jack

 

I do not have a build thread. I might have to create one some day.

 

You shouldn't need to remove the Pelfreybilt skid to change the oil. There's a drain hole and the filter should be accessible with a reach-around. No problems with mine.

 

In the meantime, I'll just be following your IG.

 

i don't know the difference but the clutch sd aren't on their website anymore. Seems like the loball are the new ones from rockymounts.

When I get home tonight I will take pictures with a tape measure from the ground to the the fender flares for all to see and measure against their own.
PRO is stock as I drove it off the dealer lot.

Yes the price it is...a lot, but not the truck.

 

I just got off the phone with them about an hour ago and they said the same thing. The LCA Tab protection is a big one for me because I have bent one offroading before. Its definitely on my purchase list.
