Awesome, so that basically means that the shocks will accommodate the lift the Dakar's provide?

Correct. The Dakar shocks are part number 25001-121-D, and are the same price as the 121's.

I didnt know there was a part number for the shocks that work with dakar leafs. I was just about to order the 121's and saying to build it to fit dakars. Or is either way fine?

Far as I know the GB discount is only for King products. If that has changed and/or I'm wrong then my credit card needs to come back out!

the group buy is for kings but DSMS still gives a discount (not as big) on other products for TW members. hence why some of us ordered more than just shocks

Gotcha, forgot about the TW discount. I'm holding off on UCA's to see if a used pair fall off the back of a truck near me :spy:

I'm not sure. It might depend per item. I would ask DSMS

I'm confused, the whole point of a group buy is to decrease price, yet you're "not allowed" to post the final markdown. Doesn't every group buy have some percentage off? It doesn't make sense why they would hold the markdown back from posting, wouldn't you attract more attention by posting it? I bet I'm missing something here... Someone Inform me please. And daaaammmm 12 weeks for IBS...

My best guess is that at the request of King or DSMS they don't post it out of respect to the fact that they're helping us out. This may be due to them trying to "protect" their brand image, as they're offering discounts on premium products. (Similar example may be "see price in cart" on a retail website) Someone who knows for sure is welcome to weigh in, but that's my $.02.

Also, OP, can you add me to the list?

Because "premium" brands 99% of the time make their distribution channels sign an agreement to not advertise prices below a certain % of MSRP. Think: Oakley, RayBan, Nike, Under Armor, licensed sports apparel, et al.

If you're going to lose sleep over it, just send a PM to OP for a quote on the part you have an eye on. It's not a huge hurdle.

Oh i fully understand a see price in cart, I just thought i would have a base line to go off of. I want 8in IBS 650lb with rr and adjusters with 1in extended eye for the front, but I dont want to get jipped by say me getting a 15% off markdown and someone else who's just getting stock length minimal kings getting a 20% because they know they can make more money off of me, not saying DSMS will do so, but it would be nice to know I'm getting the same as everyone else, to my knowledge, that's what a group buy is, especially since were now onto the third man in this game.
Not gonna lose sleep, its just Ive had bad experiences in the past. Thank you for explaining, i'll pm DSMS and see what I get, I know a baseline for what i want is around $2100 so ill see.

Worry not, a blanket discount is 100% whats happening on qualified products (King). PM's are visible to mods so they can't hide & pick/choose who to screw. Shoot them your part # & specs, they'll hook you up
