So I see cvt put there 2016 models on sale
Any idea what the new stuff will be?

 

They are getting rid of the pioneer series for the sumit and adding new colors to the lineup if i remember correctly.

 

But REI doesn't like the 4 wheel community. So screw em.

So only gonna only carry the more expensive ones... is the heavier material really better?

Its nice to have, little bit nicer win heat and cold. More durability too but the thin material is still pretty thick. They are keeping the "cheaper" tents just changing up a few specs and colors.

Just the same with a few extra features.
They will all be stargazer
They have a snow/ rain load bar
Extra parts, extra fly, extra straps etc.

Now to wait or get the pioneer searies..

I would do pioneer.... you will like it just as much. But chicks dig stargazing

And in co have to pay tax.. I don't wanna give gov any more money then they already take

 

But the tents are all the same place, and tepui, odin, and cvt use larger frame tubing then shitty. This i know for a fact as our last tent glamping trip we had all of those out there and spent an hour going "hotel" to hotel checking out who has what features and all that.

I know Odin has the good zippers..I bought cause he was local. But bottom line money is money and cheapest wins. I get that for sure

 

My next tent is going to be from odin to replace my tepui on the truck. If i was not doing that i would just run the cvt on the truck when not using the trailer.
